Clover Room

The Clover Room celebrates the alternate reality of the coin flip between Portland’s two founders that decided the city’s name. Francis Pettygrove from Portland, Maine and Asa Lovejoy from Boston, Massachusetts both wanted to name the settlement after their respective hometowns. In 1845, they flipped a coin to determine the winner. Welcome to Boston, Oregon! This room has touches that harken to Boston’s Celtic origins. The room seats 10 guests comfortably around a beautifully wrought black walnut table and comes complete with a TV and Audio system you can connect to.
