Mox Boarding House is more than a game store—it’s a place to gather, dine, and play. We offer a one-of-a-kind board game café experience, where communities come together in custom-designed spaces filled with warmth, creativity, and curiosity.
Founded in 2011 in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, Mox has since grown to include locations in Bellevue, WA; Portland, OR; and Chandler, AZ. As part of the Card Kingdom family, we proudly support the tabletop community both online and in person. Each Mox location features over 10,000 sq/ft of dining and gaming space, a curated retail selection, and a free board game library with hundreds of titles to explore.
Every Mox is distinct, but you’ll always find open gaming tables, elegant event halls, and a calendar packed with in-store events—from Friday Night Magic and Paint Jams to board game nights and TTRPG sessions. We welcome players of all ages and experience levels.
Our full-service restaurants serve house-made dishes ranging from global flavors to comfort food favorites, with vegan and gluten-free options available. Enjoy locally roasted coffee, regional beers, and craft cocktails from our bar while you play. Planning a gathering? Our themed private rooms are available to rent and include full food and beverage service.
